A coffee and magazine heaven…
I love having breakfast; it’ s my favorite meal of the day; I adore the smell of fresh coffee and the color palette that all the small jars of marmalade create to the breakfast table. I love waking up early to watch the morning light that enters my kitchen windows as I cook my way into a brand new day.
On weekdays, breakfast is usually about listening to the radio, while having a toast and a cup of coffee, but on Sundays, breakfast becomes a ritual and the day grows around it; it involves eggs, warm bread, thyme honey and a lot, a lot of magazines, newspapers and comic books…
The sound of the pages turning and the delight of a tomato, onion and feta cheese omelet are my idea for true luxury!
On Sundays, breakfast doesn’t just prepare us for the day that has begun; it creates an appetite for new possibilities and it always feels like holidays…
