Raindrops touch the sea and create tiny holes on its surface that disappear in fog seconds later. The coastline is misty and it feels as if the island has turned into a giant water bubble and we are trapped inside. From the inside of this bubble everything looks blurry: colors fade and only the red and the yellow fishing boats stand out as they rock on the windy waves.
On a rainy day like this, the countryside smells incredible. Fresh vitalizing aromas of wet soil, sage, oregano and dry hay, blend with a light smell of iodine and spread all over the island.
