A Cycladic food festival in Athens! How cool is that?
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in Athens, at the Benaki Museum -Pireos, will take place the second Gastronomy Days Festival: exploring the contemporary identity of Greek tastes which establishes its existence in the perpetuation and preservation of a cultural-gastronomic tradition of thousands of years.
Three days of cooking, workshops, food tasting, lectures, conversations, as well as –A spoonful of inspiration– the first Athens International Culinary Festival… And as if all that weren’t enough, here is something that made our heart sing: Cyclades will be the Honored Gastronomic Destination 2014!
Sounds like a big party doesn’t it? Chefs, editors, local producers, entrepreneurs, food network people, private and public institutions as the Cyclades Chamber, bloggers, gastronomes, will be there to give their best, presenting in diverse ways the pieces that compose the unique gastronomic puzzle of the Cycladic islands.
So, I am very honored and happy to tell you that aegeanpan will be there, on Sunday, 11 May, at 18:30, to explore the way narration can create a gastronomic experience, and share with you the authentic Aegean elements that lead to an inspiring reality… It will be really nice to come and have the chance to exchange our ideas and stories!
